DIE WUNDERWURST Die Wunderwurst (Pronounced: dee Voonderverst) is a multi-award winning film created by the Year 10 German Class of Mullauna College in 2009. The film was entered into Victoria-wide German School Film Festival which then went on to win 1st prize. Recently, die Wunderwurst was entered into the national German Schools Film Festival and much to the surprise of the students involved, took out 1st prize as well. The theme of the Victoria-wide Film Festival was 'Walls, Borders and Horizons'. Die Wunderwurst, or the Wonder-sausage, follows a troubled man who struggles with many difficulties including issues with physical, mental and social health. One of the most challenging difficulties he faces is his addiction to the popular German food, Currywurst (Eng: Curry Sausage). He tries many ways to kick the habit but none succeed. He then has an amazing idea! He will create his own sausage that will solve all his problems, a Wonder-sausage! We all had so much fun creating this film, and hope you have as much fun watching it.
