Mar 18, 2012 - typical negros downplaying racism against asians while going ape over anything said against negros. by the way going ape isnt a racist term and neither is negro. Negro just means a person of african decent and going ape just means behaving like an animal.
TurkuTurklamakhan Says:
Mar 18, 2012 - A statement about CHINK in his armour has to be taken in context but it seems you negros lack the muscle that counts according to Jenny Hyun. hahahaha. dumb niggers.
TurkuTurklamakhan Says:
Mar 18, 2012 - white masters fucked negro girls didnt they? And made little green eyed niggers didnt they. THe negro on the left even admitted that which basically contradicted the other niggers assertion that it couldnt be racist coz his wife was asian. These stupid boot lips are just passive-aggressive typical shiesty products of white mans rape I have seen to date. Atleast most niggers just come out and openly express their true sentiment. Its got to be that white blood in them that makes them slimey.
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - this Korean guy gave you specific statistics and you're asking him to keep it at a very high intelligent level? and then you grade his English skills? so if he had bad English skills, would you have looked down on his opinion? What gives you the right to judge his opinion based on his English skills? Federico's wife being Asian has nothing to do with him not being racist. white people will always have racial inside jokes in their heads.
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - @nightsurfer1 so if I called you cracker, would you not be mad? so now because @nightsurfer1 voicing his opinion as an Asian about this term, you're saying he is being defensive? Let's see how happy white people get if an Asian American were to have used the term cracker in the headlines while referring the story to a white guy. But since this Asian American is married to a white woman, I guess he's not racist right?
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - listen, if racial slurs were used as headlines, I'm pretty sure any community of the ethnicity the racial slurs associate with, would want people to know that that is unacceptable.
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - but the fact that you applied those terms to the two African Americans who uploaded this video just made it into racism. Those terms were used back in the day when whites would own black slaves, so please refrain from using them. They offend me.
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - you really disgust me. The fact that you are able to write that racial slur associated to Asians seems like you think you have the right to use it. And, I hope you know that you're using racial terms that not only affect these African American men, but also the rest of the African Americans across the nation.
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - I don't think it's a good thing that Asian Americans don't speak up to defend themselves. What's wrong is wrong and people should be told why it is wrong so they change their way of thoughts and not make the mistake again to any other person
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - but I guess that's exactly what those white people in control of the government want.
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - no, it's not cool to not be thinking about race. We all should be race conscious to make sure racism does not happen
greenygrapes Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - I'm sorry but I really just wanted to let you know that Asian immigrants from way way back and Asian Americans in history have been negatively called with this racial slur. There is a history behind the word, and I think when you said "but when Asians are already mad the word can be used as an excuse to get angrier" is a stereotype. racial slurs offend all races
nightsurfer1 Says:
Mar 22, 2012 - Young blood, you and the other Korean guy assume too much and too fast. Chill chill chill... It's better to think with a cool head. I would't be too fast to defend bluemonolith88, Korean guy, if I were you. My comment was basically saying that most likely that other races were voicing their opinions about "the statement" was the main reason for the stir up. Yes there are lots of good people around to step in to correct a problem. The Asian population is too small to cause this stir up.
nightsurfer1 Says:
Mar 22, 2012 - Here's a quick break down. Of the 5% Asians, how many like sports, then of those how many like basketball, then of those how many was aware of Jeremy Lin at time of "the statement", then of those how many were ACTUALLY offended, then of those how many took actions??? Maybe .0001% of those 5%. Do you think that Blue...88 thought this through when he was throwing stats at me?
nightsurfer1 Says:
Mar 22, 2012 - I didn't judge his English. When he said, "I've never lived in America, but even I know that "chink" is THE term for offending E. Asians", He wanted to pass for an everyday Korean and "EVEN" he would know what the word chink means. Well, I believe he's been living in an English speaking country for a while and now resides in Korea. Here's a dead give away, he said, "whites, blacks, and Asians". Asians from Asia use whites and blacks as adjectives. They say white Americans or black Americans.
nightsurfer1 Says:
Mar 22, 2012 - Check time, read below first... In his first response to mine, he cursed me out in Korean. When I asked him to translate so everyone can see, he said go learn Korean, then criticized American Pride in the next one, and all in Korean. Do you still defend him/her now? What make you think calling me cracker would offend me? Figure me out...Here's a hint. "21 lonely and it hurts. I don't care, Don't cry. I am the best. Gee Mr. Taxi a genie for you boy. Oh! Mr Simple Be like superman...365 awakening"

BerDinosaur Says:
Mar 23, 2012 - Intentional or not, was there not a single thought in any of the ESPN writers/editors/reporters' minds that there could possibly be a problem with the community about this? Did they all give the green light to this kind of title and have no worries of what kind of reaction it would get? You mean to tell me nobody thought that this was an inappropriate headline before officially releasing the article? Hahahaha
