Mar 29, 2012 - Well you know what they say : no pain = no gain . I'd rather be struggling in the gym for a brief workout than spend countless hours of throwing weights around and not making any progress . .

Apr 5, 2012 - You should try Ken Hutchins super slow rep. It takes 10 sec. to lift and 10 sec. down. It's much harder. I used to do 275 with incline, but when my left shoulder and right elbow started hurting. I lowered the weight to 185lbs and move like a snail with the reps. I got even better result when it comes to muscle gain and broke my plateau. The pain is good pain and you walk out the gym feeling satified.

Apr 15, 2012 - id suggest to anyone that IS serious about building muscle then pick up the HIT training book by mike mentzer, as a matter of fact pick them both up and read them and take them in. Scientifcally it explains every rationale behind every factor and kindly points out that these muscle magazines are in existence to sell products which is exactly true, it also even asks you to question the HIT training princible it self regardless of its proven record. Used correctly will work with anyone! :)

I have seen video after video of Yates training differently then what mike sells in his program. Your the idiot who believes in fairy tails and devours the hype. May 7, 2012 - saying yates was juiced and using that as the reason for his results is ridiculous. yates was juiced and so were the people following the "worklout all day everyday" method. all pro bodybuilders are juiiced. both got huge. therefore, both methods work, but yate's method is the one you should use because you're not wasting time doing things you dont need in order to get huge. case closed, assuming that's all true.

May 10, 2012 - I love you guys but... MM states that the first 7 or 8 reps are nothing - it's the last 2 or 3 reps where your body is shaking and you don't think that you can make it. That experience flips a 'switch' in your body that stimulates growth. You need to read the books to get the whole picture.
